GENERAL VISITOR INFORMATIONS

Our team is happy to welcome you back to visit the Château of Montesquieu, following optimized health conditions. In compliance with the current government advice, health precautions and measures to control visitor numbers are put in place.

Every visitor must abide by the security instructions in place at the estate (visible on signs). Booking is highly encouraged for the guided tours. They will take place with up to 9 persons per group and masks will be mandatory.

TICKET OFFICE
  • Masks are compulsory : visitors are requested to bring their own mask, as non will be sold or distributed on site.
  • One person at the same time in the ticket office : in order to favour social distancing (one meter between the persons) in the queue at the entrance, you must respect the marking on the ground.
  • Choose contactless card payments wherever possible.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel stations are placed at visitors’ disposal.
  • The ticket office does not deposit lockers.
  • Regular and automatic disinfection of contact areas.
  • The toilets at the entrance are disinfected regularily.
  • Last access at 5:30 PM : closure of the estate at 6PM.
FREE ACCESS TO THE PARK
  • No booking is required.
  • In the park, masks are not compulsory for visitors, but they are strongly recommended : visitors must bring their own masks as non will be sold or distributed on site.
  • Single use documentation.
  • Animals are not allowed at the estate, even on leash or in handbag, except for guide or assistance dogs.
  • Last access at 5:30 PM : closure of the estate at 6PM.
GUIDED TOUR OF THE CHÂTEAU

The château can only be seen following a guided tour. The tour has been adapted as to avoid facing other visitors and to favour social distancing. Every visitor must abide by the security instructions in place at the estate :

  • Booking is highly recommanded and tour are limited up to 9 persons per group.
  • Masks are compulsory for all visitors over the age of 11 : visitors must bring their own mask, as non will be sold or distributed on site.
  • Visitors must respect social distancing : In order to avoid visitors overlapping and maintaining social distancing (1m minimum), the tour has been adapted and some parts of the château will not be seen.
  • Bagpacks are not allowed in the Château.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel stations are placed at visitors’ disposal.
  • Regular and automatic disinfection of contact areas.
